I had my Ac fixed in my car and they didn't put the suction hose on and antifreeze leaked out of it .?

This happened at a Walgreens drugstore so I drove it across the street to a Good year tire b ecause the service station was closed on a Saturday.The engine sounds funny now and the temp gage was as hot as it can get.Who is responsible for this?There might be engine damage now.The anti freeze was all over the inside of car.Good year put in more antifreeze and then had trouble strating car,temp gage very hot engine sounds funny.Before antifreeze leaked out everything was fine. I am sorry your choice of Service Station and Good Year service center say's a lot. You think the dealer is out to just take money "they are" but in a case where potintial engine dammage occurs we replace the engine no questions asked. Now is there repair related to the antifreeze leak? was a heater hose left loose? You said something about a low side A/C line (suction line) was or was not replaced? ANd no reference as to year make model of car or how many miles were on it?

1st off, without proper diagnostics you cannot get a proper repair...with that being said...

2nd, if you just had the A/C(air conditioning) fixed they shouldn't have even touched your anti-freeze unless they were being kind and topping it off. These are 2 separate systems that have nothing to do with each other.

3rd, IF, and a very big IF, they did do something other than A/C that involved your coolant then they are responsible for  ensuring that the job is done and yes they could be held accountable for the damages to your car but you need to act quickly to preserve your rights.

4th, take your car to another technician and get a 2nd opinion on what is wrong with your car.

Thet had nothing to do with antifreeze leak. Quit trying to rip.
