My Ac in my car is not working?

I had a car accident in January. I crashed into the other car. So my friend fixed my car. But know that I check my AC is not working its only blowing hot air. What can the problem be. And how will I spend if I take it in. Its a honda accord 2003.

Your air conditioner might be working. Sounds like it needs to be 'recharged'. Go to walmart and buy some air conditioner gas and take it to someone that works on car engines and have them put it in. If that doesn't work, then it will probably cost a lot of moneyto get it fixed. Airconditioners can get very pricy, and hard to get to.

I am having the same problem, i bought a LX 2003 coupe accord and the AC isn't working its only blowing out warm air.  Im bringing it in to the honda dealer to see whats really wrong with it.  I hoping its just the fluid, but someone told me that they had a recall on the AC button on some of the hondas and if thats the problem it should be under $200 canadian to fix.

when you had the accident you probably cracked or broke the ac unit which is in the front of the car.

but if the ac unit wasnt damaged maybe you just need to recharge your AC system which should be under 100.    but to get a new ac condensor and all that stuff might be a little more.

You need freon. It's an easy fix and you can get it at any auto parts store or online. It even comes with the tube you need to get it into you a/c compressor.

It could be one or more of these problems:

Your refrigerant may have leaked out.

The clutch of the compressor may not be working. When you turn
on the A/C if there is a noise from the engine ( something like when you change gears). then your clutch is working.

Lastly, the compressor may be out.
