Can sprintec make you break out?

I've been on sprintec for a year now and it has cleared up a lot of my acne, but I still break out pretty bad on my chin. And it's usually the week I get my period and the week after when I start up on the blue pills again. Sometimes it can stay like that the whole month. Is this normal?
